Our workboats are the WeeDoo TC-3012 and TC-3014 models, compact but potent and exceptionally capable machines. The Fiberglass/Kevlar hull configuration includes a deck-mounted marine boom cutter, front-end loader with a universal marine bucket system, and T-1305 highway transportation trailer. The onboard system includes a clean-burning Kubota diesel enging, twin propulsion outdrives with WeeDoo Weed-N-Mud propellers and quick change hydraulics for aquatic work attachments.
With a 1,000lb lift capacity, our all-steel root rake, with 1/4" solid steel hooked teeth, is perfect for pulling out cattails by the root, breaking up and removing bogs, lifting and removing tees, tree root systems, deadfall, logs, old dock sections, old fountain bases, railroad ties, shopping carts, old boat lifts, old boats and motors, and more. We've seen just about everything and this bucket has handled it all.
Our yellow aquatic weed bucket has an aluminum frame and long steel tines. It's specifically designed for removing lily pads, watershield, curly leaf pondweed, milfoil, coontail, and more. It has a long reach and we're usually able to get lily pads out by the rhizomes(roots) with this one. At just over 6ft wide, it's also our most efficient bucket for collecting cut and floating material and has a fast-draining design for quick evacuation of water.
. Our stainless steel mesh skimming bucket does a great job of skimming algae, duckweed, debris and fall leaves. It also does a great job of scooping out muck and sediment. And our hydraulically-powered pole saw does quick work of overhead or overhanging limbs, branches, trees, and even lily pad rhizomes (root system) on the lake bottom.
. We also carry onboard a hydraulic-powered pole saw. This saw has a 12" bar and with its hydraulic power, is equivelant to a 6.5hp gas chainsaw. This is indispensible when removing large, heavy and/or waterlogged trees that are too heavy to lift. We use this saw to cut them down to manageable size. And if 12" isin't large enough, we do carry larger, traditional, gas-powered chainsaws too.
. All of our workboats have a hydraulic-powered boom saw. This incredible cutter can cut lily pad roots, cattails and other aquatic weeds horizontally as deep as 5ft below the surface, 9ft vertially, and nearly 10ft overhead for brush and branches. This cutter is vital when we aren't able to remove vegetation by the roots, so that we are able to cut them off at the lake bottom, trimming up the sides of channels, and cleaning up shoreline overgrowth and overhang.
The Silt Sucker II quick-change snorkel attachment for the TC 3000 series dredging workboat includes a 3-inch gas-powered diaphragm pump and is ideally suited for silt and sediment removal. Snorkel is easily maneuvered to target sediment build-up areas down to 8 feet below the surface and discharge hose can pump slurry up to 300 feet with a flow of up to 5300 gal/hr, and we can pump beyond 300 feet with a remote inline pump.
The Floating Silt Curtain or turbidity barrier is a floating curtain type barrier which is used to trap sediment or floating debris from mixing with larger bodies of water. Some dredging permits on public waters require that we use these to keep the muck and sediment disturbances localzed to the work area, and may be required to leave in the water at the job site for up to a week after the work has been completed.
We chose the Nissan Frontier as our tow/work trucks for many reasons. Since many jobs require launching without a boat ramp or going back into difficult areas to access our customer's remote lake access, ponds, swamps, and channels, we needed a truck that is narrower, has excellent ground clearance, agile handling with a tight turning radius, and superb off-road capabilities It also had to have a wide range of racks, storage accessories, and auxiliary lighting options available so that we could build it up to carry all of our gear and safely light the way. .
All of our equipment is the newest and best available for the jobs we do and is as quiet as reasonably possible. We will be on time, professional, safe, courteous to you and your neighbors, and respectful of your property. Estimates are always free and we provide clear and upfront pricing before you schedule your job. And we as owners both have extensive experience in high-end, high-expectation professional work environments which brings to you a higher level of communication, performance, and follow-through. We look forward to hearing from you!
