$550 one-time mobilization fee to get the workboat and equipment to your site.
$2300 per day of production on lakes with public access
$2500 per day for ponds or bodies of water with no traditional boat ramp or access
$250 per overnight stay required due to travel distance (typically over 90 minutes away).
*Extra-long distances may require extra per/day fees due to lost production instead of travel time.
*Weed, brush, debris and all other removed material disposal is up to the property owner. It is far more economical for you handle your self or to hire a local bobcat/dump trailer service than it is for us to bring that extra crew and equipment with us. Or, you can leave it on your property to decay or use as compost, as long as it is a proper distance from the water.
This is fairly common and it's so great to see neighbors joining together to clean up their shared ponds, lakes and shorelines! We are happy to work with your group, lake and neighborhood associations and to get everything coordinated for a smooth job.

$2300 per day of production if we are just bucket dredging your private pond. Bucket dredging is done with our stainless steel mesh skimming bucket, usually around the shore and shallower areas of your pond and the material is placed around the shore. This does not include siphon dredging.
$250 per overnight stay required due to travel distance (typically over 90 minutes away).
*Extra-long distances may require extra per/day fees due to lost production in lieu of travel time.
Most dredge jobs include a general weed and branch/debris removal prior to dredging in an effort to make the dredging process more efficient for you and safer for our equipment.

$250 per overnight stay required due to travel distance (typically over 90 minutes away).
*Extra-long distances may require extra per/day fees due to lost production in lieu of travel time.
*If dewatering bags are required in your permit, these will have an added cost at market rates and may significantly slow production.
*If a floating silt curtain is required by your permit, add $100/day.
*If silt fencing is required by your permit, please have properly installed prior to our arrival.
***If we are to be materially/actively involved in your dredge permit process, there will be a non-refundable deposit required (depending on the size of your job), whether your permit is approved or denied.

Our current service area includes ALL of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, plus the Eastern Dakotas. Being in the Midwest, we have a finite amount of time in a single season, so we recommend booking your job now to reserve a spot on our production schedule for the current or next season as we tend to book up quickly..
Please keep in mind that this is the Midwest and we can have rapid weather changes, and slight adjustments may be needed to our master schedule, but we will make every attempt to stay on target.
Some jobs require permits from the DNR or your DNR Area Hydrologist. We will communicate this with you about your job specifically if your job needs a permit or not, when we do your estimate and guide you through the application process, which is usually pretty simple.
PLEASE NOTE: You can apply for your permit now for work to be done later this season, so plan ahead! It's a good idea to apply for your permit as soon as you decide to move forward with the job.
Unfortunately no. Nature being nature, weeds and muck will eventually find a way to reestablish, so depending on your individual situation and water conditions, we may recommend repeating the procedure annually for 2-3 years. Invasive weeds are very good at being invasive and will most likely come back, but physically and systematically removing them is the single best method of staying ahead of them and keeping chemicals out of your waters. This method is also better for reducing excess muck build-up and is far better for fish and wildlife too.
Since we have a limited amount of time to work each season, we require a 1/3 of your total as a deposit to reserve a spot on our calendar for you, as our schedule will fill quickly. Jobs larger than 8 days of production may require 1/2 down. The remaining balance is not due until the day we finish the work at your site, and we will provide you with a property lien waiver upon receipt of payment.
Due to scheduling challenges, DNR notification requirements, securing lodging especially in lake country during prime vacation time (almost our whole season), coordinating trips with other jobs, etc., deposits or a portion of are potentially non-refundable if you cancel your job, but fully refundable if we are unable to do your job due to ALL proposed work being disallowed by DNR, or conditions of your pond or lake.
If your lake is designated as infested with zebra mussels by Minnesota DNR, please call to discuss, as there may be an upcharge. The Minnesota DNR requires our equipment to be sterilized with pressure-wash hot water at least 140 degrees, and then dry for 5 days once we leave those lakes, which takes away valuable production time, however, this can be defrayed among same-lake neighbors if scheduled at all at the same time.
